The reading park in Morgex is located near the Dora Baltea and the historic railway station of the Aosta-Pre-Saint-Didier section (now out of use). The park was inaugurated in 2020 creating a colorful and accessible space dedicated to children and teenagers, with a theme of books and stories.
The municipality of Morgex and the “Foundation Centro di Studi Storico-letterari Natalino Sapegno” – Onlus present the park as follows:
“The reading park was designed with the aim of creating a green area as inclusive and welcoming as possible for everyone and the intention to continue to improve accessibility over time to translate the full participation of children with disabilities, like others, in playful, recreational and leisure activities into a concrete right, as sanctioned by the UN Convention on rights of people with disabilities”.
